Dragon's blood
Dragon's blood resin is obtained from the fruit of the Asian Daemonorops draco tree. Dissolvable in spirits or water, it delivers a striking blood-red stain that can be used to color violin varnishes, oil varnish or watercolors, as some examples. It can also be used in its pure form.
